Dr AFIFI received his MD at the French University of Angers, and then completed his fellowship in general surgery, vascular surgery, urological surgery and breast surgery.

He specialises in breast oncological and reconstructive surgery under supervision of Pr Petit and Pr Petoin in Paris, and now is the head of Department of oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery in the " Centre International d'Oncologie de Casablanca " with a team of medical oncologists, radio-oncologists, pathologists, geneticists, and radio-nuclear radiologists, managing patients from all over Morocco and other African countries.
