Dr. Melnikov is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He is widely recognized for advanced techniques in primary and secondary breast augmentation, as well as complex revision procedures.
He has pioneered microsurgical flaps across the CIS countries and dedicated his career to making reconstructive microsurgery accessible for breast cancer survivors. He serves as the Head of the Lancet Center for Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery and Chair of the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology (IPSC) in Moscow, Russia. He is also an Associate Professor at Sechenov University and Chair of the Microsurgery Section of the Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (RSPRAS MICRO).
In addition to his work in Russia, Dr. Melnikov also practices at King’s College Hospital London – Dubai, UAE, and serves as the National Vice-Secretary for ISAPS.
