Plastic and microsurgery consultant at the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute in Rome, he completed three microsurgery fellowships in the UK and earned the European Master in Breast Surgery.

He is responsible for limb reconstruction following sarcoma surgery and maintains an active and productive research profile, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as a lecturer in Plastic Surgery at the University of L’Aquila.
