Dr. John Kim is a Professor of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate, medical, and graduate studies in literature from Harvard and Stanford.

He is currently the CME Editor for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, past Chair of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Breast and Body Symposium and is on the Advisory Council for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has published over 200 original articles and an additional 140 presentations and chapters.

He has 16 patents and has founded 2 medical device companies that have had commercial exits. His clinical practice is primarily breast and body cosmetic surgery and he performs over 400 surgeries a year.
