Mr Yazan Masannat is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based at the London Clinic in Central London and Broomfield Hospital in Essex and he is Visiting Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University.

He serves as Meetings Secretary and Trustee of the Association of Breast Surgery and is a member of the International Committee of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. His clinical and academic interests include oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, breast reconstruction, axillary surgery, revision surgery following breast cancer treatment and surgical de-escalation.

Mr Masannat has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and has an H-index of 2s. He is the creator and editor of www.iBreastBook.com, a free global educational platform whose webinar programme has reached audiences in more than 100 countries.

A recipient of a National Clinical Excellence Award, he is regularly invited to lecture and teach internationally. At the London Breast Meeting 2026, he will discuss the role of artificial intelligence in reducing radiotherapy and chemotherapy complications and will co-chair the oncoplastic session.
