Ashutosh completed his super-speciality training in surgical oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India. He is currently the Lead Surgeon and Chair of Breast Cancer Tumour Group as well as the Multidisciplinary Team at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London. He is on onco-plastic breast cancer surgeon and specialises in onco-aesthetic breast conservation surgery and partial as well as whole breast reconstruction. He has a special interest in hereditary breast cancer and breast cancer in young women. Ashutosh, chairs the Breast Pathway Group of the South-East London Cancer Alliance.. He is a Hon. Senior Lecturer for the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, Kings College, London, with an interest in translational research and has a diverse portfolio of clinical and commercial trials. He sits on the Trial Management Group of three large multicentre clinical trials and has led two first in man research studies. He is an enthusiastic academic and teaches a range of students from undergraduate medicine to super-speciality MCh. courses in onco-plastic breast surgery. He is the Vice-Chair of the Education & Training Committee, European Society of Surgical Oncology. He is on the executive committee member of several international breast cancer societies. He is a clinical tutor on the MCh. In oncoplastic breast surgery degree certification course conducted by the University of East Anglia, UK. in India. He is also serves as an examiner for the EBSQ, European Board Certification examination in Breast surgery. Ashutosh, is regularly invited as a keynote speaker to several key International Breast Cancer Conferences, masterclasses, surgical workshops, webinars and training courses. He has authored several chapters in surgical textbooks and is very well published. He is on the editorial board of three international Breast Cancer Journals and also the founder of the Breast Global web platform as well as the BreastGlobal Journal. He is the chair and organiser of the annual Breast Global Conference, the last meeting had over 3000 registrations globally.
