Professor Leo is Head of the Breast Center of Kantonsspital Baden, Switzerland and holds an adjunct professorship at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, she trained in Germany, becoming a board certified gynecologist. She specialised in breast surgery as well as in the oncological treatment of breast cancer. Another focus of her work lies on hereditary breast cancer and risk-reducing surgery. She runs an active research group and serves as co-investigator in a variety of clinical trials. Due to her expertise in different aspects of breast cancer, she frequently contributes as a speaker to national and international conferences. Professor Leo serves currently as Vice President of the Swiss Society of Senology.
